I'm the eternal optimist

I'm the eternal optimist

Post  cyprussyd on 2018-03-10, 5:08 pm

But after today's defeat even I am accepting the worst, yes we could still do it and I will hope beyond hope but those dark clouds are getting darker and I fear it will get worse before it gets better.

Relegation wont do anything to attract that elusive buyer, high salaries and long contracts wont improve our finances and I fear Cookie will walk. Yes he has made mistakes but will we, can we attract any better?

I will continue going with a renewed season card but many wont and that is understandable but a 48000 stadium with who knows how many there could be an eerie place next season.

I'm sad but not angry or annoyed, dont see any point in either, I can do nothing to change things but those heady days of 48000 bouncing fans against Everton seem many, many years away.

Still I have made a nice spagboll for dinner, with the lady I love so life could be a lot worse.

I've accepted the worst but hoping for a miracle.

I think the players must dream up new ways to make us an even bigger stock than we already are.

Dont think they need to try, its a natural ability they have. The one bright spot is most may leave and the kids will form our div 1 team

Catts has got at least 2 more seasons here, at least. I'm sure we gave him a 5 yr contract in 2016.

I had a game of pool in the bar the other day.
Potted a smashing ball but followed through with the white.
Just done the same in my pants a little bit.

I had 2 small meat pies and 20 brussel sprouts for tea, could be an interesting night.

Big tits fault but he really deserves shooting in the face with a 12 gauge shotgun at close range.
