Are you angry, upset,pissed off?

Well I know many are and yes I honestly do understand but

"H" lost her son in law recently and is suffering because her daughter and grandchildren are far, far away.
Vinkle, well just read his post on general chat.
Billy is trying his best to care for his mother
Lesmack is doing his best to care for his wife
Dave is going through worrying times with his health

And they are just a few, a few of many.

Our football club will be what it will be, my advice for what it's worth.

Enjoy the good days like yesterday, win no but all the things we have been calling for, passion, effort, commitment, drive and never say die attitude.

The bad days, shrug your shoulders and move on with life.

If the day comes that you cant move on, walk away, forget football forums and live a happy life.

It really is just a game.

Good advice Syd Smile

All is well as can be expected in Uganda as far as I can tell. Current plan is they are coming home in May as planned, and we will talk about the future then. Can't come quick enough for me Smile

Football in the meantime is doing its best to be a distraction! Very Happy

Lots of people having a hard time on here...my best wishes go out to you all...makes all my problems seem small...tbh football is the least of my worries atm....in fact I would love to get to the match just to escape reality for a while....one thing I learnt a while ago is that there are more important things in life than football and I learnt to put them first....football will always be there, more important things won't

Wife recovering from having second knee replacement in six months, daughter recovering from hysterectomy, another one with bi-polar, but she is looking after a great grandson just diagnosed with a mild form of ADHD traceable to neo-natal(?) drug use by granddaughter who flits into our lives when it suits. Both sons-in-law need to work so without my wing woman I am the busy go-too for quick jobs or support. Had an hour at little fellah's football coaching yesterday and my knees are feeling it today.

Apart from that,  the sun is shining we are all breathing, and as H says the football is just a distraction. Had we been mid-table with not much going on then it would not be as interesting as worrying as it is.

I get upset at times with my mam as she appreciates nothing I do for her.
If it wasn't for me she'd be in a care home.

I know it is very difficult. Chronic pain, inability to do even simple things for themselves and the effects of strong pain killers can be hard for the person to deal with, and they often take it out on those closest to them. Maybe speak to your mam's GP? Hugs and  kiss Billy anyway.

I know the feeling Billy and it can be hard, said before its one reason I go to the football, my few hours of escape.

H is right about the GP, they are very busy and you can slip through the net so you need to tell them. I told them the hard way, blew up on the phone to the surgery manager and ended up apologizing and crying telling her I just felt very alone and powerless. Since that day I have had help, simple things like telephone consultations with a GP about Annette, getting her to the surgery can be  hard work so I dont need to do it, free anytime to ask for a doctor to phone me.
One example, I had a problem with some of Annette's medication, I ran out, my fault so phned surgery. Had a phone call at 8 at night from GP saying sorry its late but I have just sent prescription to Chemist, it will be ready first thing in morning. Things like that help me a lot and take away the feeling of being alone.

Worth a visit Billy but be honest, no time for male pride.

Yeh a lot of people don’t see pain and suffering.
Just because you look fine and have a happy smilie face.
It doesn’t mean you are not suffering
Visual ailments seem to get help and assistance
Where people who look fine get ignored.
Just my point
Ohh and there is always some one worse than others we all have to try and do our best
Look after each other

Billy get help now, dont let your relationship disintegrate.  If you keep on trying alone it probably will. That is the main reason i let my wife go into full time care. Just the thought of me losing my love for her was too much to bear. Get help Billy.
