Fabulous February.

Go down

Fabulous February.

Post  cyprussyd on 2018-02-08, 11:34 am

Yes I do think this is the month the fight back starts.

Games..

Bristol City away
Brentford home
Bolton away
Boro home

Why the confidence I hear you ask, well it comes from last Saturday. I know we lost and our heads dropped and yes that what many saw.
I saw a number of players who had two days working together and a back 3 with a right back in it.

A weeks training and players coming back will see a big improvement IMO.

8 POINTS MIN

Could we beat Bristol of course we could, the players have all crowded into a phone box and in a twinklng of an eye put on their Superman  costumes ready to save the day.

The odds are against us but I still believe we could pull this off desite everything being stacked against us

Today was maybe the most important point of the last 10 years. It may make all the difference come May.

As we were driving home this afternoon listening to that depressing first half I said to Mr H what we need is a "sparky" performance - such as an unlikely comeback today - like that draw against Man City in 2014 that triggered the great escape (the first of several!); something to give the players and the fans belief. And I think today was that performance. Not a single person on here expected anything second half did we? Honestly? And once again football shows how it can surprise us.

My son had a little bet on Bristol to win £3 at 3/2. Yes, I know, but it is his way of coping with the pain and it has been quite lucrative sadly,

But the best news was they paid out after 31 minutes!!! So he was ecstatic at 16:50 this afternoon Laughing
