No great surprise anything that can go wrong has these last few games

Agreed with that.
At this moment in time my toilet is blocked.
I'm going to have to call a plumber out in the morning.
That said it's still working harder than our lot.
At least it's attempting to shift the shit.

I do not blame the players as such, for the plight we are in. Most of them put in a lot of effort... it is not their fault they are not good enough

That is all down to Bane and Short

I thought you loved Bain for bringing Coleman.

For me big money buys done in the past lie at the root of our problems as they continuously failed to produce a stable base from which we could build. How many showed their worth against transfer fee paid We had enough managers in that period but they too fell short.

I realise that it is the name of the game today,  but buying them in on four year contracts at large wages, them strolling through life and then being sold on for peanuts when not offered extended contracts. Short's money, manager choices.

For me Short did his bit in the first five years when he bankrolled us in the big money time and now he is relying on a different proven manager to develop our younger players.  Possibly something that could have happened last season but for the horrendous run of injuries.

Going on tonight's results elsewhere maybe going for Hodgson, or hanging with Moyes would have been better, but we are where we are and the team, manager and club need us

Dead right it's the big money signings of the past, since Drummaville, which have set us in this mire. The person involved with the contractual negotiations is now a football agent - she is massively responsible. MB.
Although we are here now struggling I feel we'll correct things on the pitch with a couple of new signings and without N'Dong and Kone who are poisonous to team morale. Both want away.
Sadly we are stuck with Rodwell.

Bizzarly I fancy us at Cardiff after the Cup match
Not sure about Hull as our home record against them is worse than our home record now. Ouch

Welcome Red black cat1956 (my birth year also) good to have a new poster in a new year Very Happy

Yes we are in dire straits. Shame we don't have a new team to give us some joy, but all we can do is support what Coleman is doing as he has mostly got it right so far.

And as many of you know my view is the only person to blame is Ellis Short. Who else has been our Chairman and brought in inadequate managers and CEO's and made sure the best Chairman and CEO we have had in recent times, Niall Quinn and Steve Walton, were forced out? Evil or Very Mad

We will have no funds to buy anyone substantial
It will be loans
Can’t spend big money on stars and wages
It will have to be wages or we will get the same load of crap we have

To put it succinctly 'we are stuffed'

Short has effectively abandoned the club.. wants to sell.. wants his money back..

Will I go as often to the games?   Probably not, we were awful Saturday, looked lacklustre and off the pace and I came away depressed... had gone hoping for back to back wins.
