Cost kids shoes/Cinema

After getting the kids teeth checked, we took advantage of the early start and got shoes/trainers for the two of them
I reckon Clark's share price just went up.... nowt in the sale for them other than some slippers for the lad.

I suppose they have you over a barrel for childrens shoes

In Uganda the kids, including my grandchildren, pretty much just wear flip flops so no arch support or leather uppers, although Leo does wear trainers for football. So far his feet are perfect; no squashed toes as he never outgrows shoes, no blisters or scrapes from new shoes, and no athletes foot from getting all sweaty.

So I wonder how much Kids REALLY need all that measuring and fitting, or is it all simply a good marketing ploy by shoe retailers?

This sounds like a good time to say,

"When I was a boy"

Well the boy has gone up a shoe size since August, and needs school shoes plus  2 x trainers, one pair to be left at school (one at home), and wellies

The little one has one pair trainers and one 'posher' pair shoes has gone up half a size since october

Not sure if bare feet would work...not a bad idea though I will not say how much we spent this morning!

Further on the theme of cost I took the 4 year old to the Bolton multiplex  (Ferdinand) £26.. 2 tickets one regular popcorn and 2 diet cokes.

For a family with 3 kids you are talking £70 quid ridiculous

Just wait till it comes out on dvd.
You could have all watched it in the house for a tenner.
