If I was Coleman? I would not hold my breath waiting for JR to be fit and to play well.

I believe somewhere inside Rodwell is the player he once promised to be....so many managers have tried to bring the talent back out of him and failed that I have all but given up ever seeing that player again....can Coleman work a miracle on him? well lets just wait and see

He is not the player he was at Everton his stint at City has shown him he can just cruise through games and get paid, rather than put some effort in and try to better himself. My initial thoughts when we got him was no far too injury prone which has proved the case however, I also thought that if we kept him fit and relatively injury free he could be a good player for us. Let him run his contract down and get shot.
As for this polite request to actually do his job, sorry no you tell him and if he doesn’t then you get rid, I’m sure if I turned up to work next week and waited for a manager to ask me to do my job if it wasn’t too much trouble I’d be out on my arse.

Never in all my years have I known a player injured as much ,he needs to get his head sorted out and start to put a shift in for the team, another example of talent wasted

IIRC I read somewhere that by the end of his contract he will have cost the club around  £20m. Not sure how much that works out per minute on the pitch
