Khazri and Kone to join Big Sam

Post  cyprussyd on 2017-12-13, 11:28 am

Another former player on Big Sam’s radar is Tunisian international Wahbi Khazri, who is currently on-loan at French side Rennes from Sunderland.
The Black Cats have no interest in keeping him and they would be prepared to recall him in order to sell, knowing Everton would be able to give them a good return on their money.
Khazri signed from Bordeaux for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £9million in January 2016.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who performed admirably for Allardyce at Sunderland, is doing well in France with four goals in eight starts and he could now be offered a route back to England with Everton.

TEAMtalk understands Sam Allardyce is ready to return to two of his former clubs in January to bolster his new Everton squad.

Big Sam owes us a favour - £40m and we will give then Rodwell back in a buy 2 get one free deal. Very Happy

Mr H is not happy about this prospect though. He has had the misfortune to see both of these players in action (or not) and is far from convinced.

Given the post-war  history of both clubs H, can we assume that the footballing discussions in your house can be mixed?  Especially since we both fell behind the near-neighbours in general terms.

To be fair when they wanted to, and they did with Sam, both were bloody good players.

What I see here is a manager who seems to be getting some breaks and turning us round. Deadwood out, bringing the young uns in and a lot more faith and positivity in the fans.

I think the magic carpet is about to rise and take off again.

Sunderland's Wahbi Khazri was linked with a move to Everton next month, but FIFA rules mean he cannot play for a third club this season
