Christmas the season of goodwill.

Post  cyprussyd on 2017-12-07, 11:50 am

With the festive season in full swing could it be possible that on Christmas morning our leader, Cookie, wakes to find that special gift in his Christmas stocking.

That envelope to Dear Chris, with love and BEST wishes from Elis, a cheque to spend in the January sales, not tens of millions but maybe the odd ten million.

We know that the club is struggling financially, how and why is not the question right now but solutions to problems surely are. And even the daftest dumbest fan can see the problems that Short has.

  • An asset that is being devalued with every game
  • A squad of players badly in need of new blood.
  • A manager who cant be allowed to fail, we really are in the last chance saloon

The solution seems very simple, an injection of cash in the club, a small injection in comparison to Shorts overall wealth and financial fair play, well if Man City could offer a multi million pound signing on fee and £85,000 a week to Messi surely we could handle a 10 mill investment.

10 mill wont solve all our problems but that amount plus a few loan deals and some cash from player sales should be enough to get us safe and safe this season would be success for most of us.

So will it happen, well history says no, Bain and Coleman's comments suggest no but surely common and good business sense would suggest yes.

Some come on Shorty, we are not asking you to move back over or even disrupt your family Christmas in America, a simple bank transfer will do and that can be done on line.
