Hard on the lad but with Mcmanaman, Honeyman and Williams we have replacements and Maja got 45 minutes last night.

Nothing can dull my happiness right now, mind you we haven't kicked off yet.

@bbcsport_david
Sunderland forward Duncan Watmore has suffered a suspected cruciate ligament injury - to same (left) knee he damaged in Dec 2016, ruling him out for 10 months. In 6th game back, he limped off vs Millwall & will undergo surgery later this week once scans have been undertaken

Tragic for the lad.
Will be difficult to come back twice.

Always the fear of a bad tackle....

@ianwatmore
This kind of message - and hundreds I’ve had from @SunderlandAFC fans and football people generally - is why the football family is the best. Thanks to each of you. He will be back [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][size=14]in 2018 to join Chris Coleman’s red and white army....
