He wont know until Friday whether he is losing his job or not from Wales.

I would prefer him to the others mentioned.

PS, Keane still my 1st choice.

Did a worthy job at Fulham when he first set out, and obviously more recently for Wales, but the years in between not so good his CV.

Mixed feelings for me.

Putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 986 if Coleman wants the job and comes, surely he would not be short on offers so would only come if guaranteed the funds to rebuild.

Mind it is only gossip from an un reliable newspaper but if we like the story we tend to believe the gossip dont we.

May as well be me that posts the inevitable photo Very Happy

I remember the smell in the air on a cold and cloudy winters day; that smoky air that you could almost taste, so was no doubt really bad for us. To this day I smell a coal fire and it reminds me of my childhood, Sunday evenings, putting slices of bread on a toasting fork in front of the hot coals, and then smothering them in butter and jam. Fabulous!Very Happy

I can remember going down the beach at Seaton Sluice and picking sea coal to fetch home for the fire. Saved my parents a few bob with 5 kids to feed on a factory workers wages.

My coalman had one of those autofil trucks.
It had a wee swing on the back where they'd load the sacks.
Happy days, lol.

The cynics will think that he has no intention of joining us but is using us to put pressure on the Welsh FA going into contract talks.

I'd swear that this is the same wagon that used to take the local scouts to the annual camp at Sharpley.

I was too young to go, but my brothers and about 20 others would travel with all their camping gear on the open wagon.

I knew I was missing out on the biggest adventure EVER because they returned with tales of fun, danger and adventure that had me yearning for my turn.

It was many years later that I discovered that the camp was only a few miles away (on the road between Houghton and Seaham) but at the time it could have been on the other side of the world.

Oh how times have changed.
