A week now and only rumours

That sinking feeling
I think you all know that I am the eternal optimist, glass half full always find the positive kind of person but right now I have that sinking feeling.
Grayson was sacked over a week ago and results prior to that should have meant a plan B was in place with a list of replacements ready. In 7 days we should, IMO, be down to appointment stage but we read that potential candidates are being assessed.
I think its more like that list is reducing as one by one we are being told thanks but no thanks leaving us again with the real possibility of appointing who we can get rather than who we want.
John O'Shea does nothing to instil confidence in me but I can see it being him until the end of the season.

A week now and only rumours
I am getting the feeling of here we go again, are we being turned down 1 by 1 of our manager targets. We obviously are not one of the most highly sought after clubs as an employer, but the papers are seemingly resorting to rumours or guesswork. Oh well just have to wsit and see.

Re: A week now and only rumours
More rumour but from Nick Barnes who thinks no appointment this week, no lower league appointment but a known experienced name.

Well that sounds promising, shame it couldn't be this week.cyprussyd wrote:More rumour but from Nick Barnes who thinks no appointment this week, no lower league appointment but a known experienced name.

It’ll be the cheapest option whatever happens, yet again.

But I hope kranka will not cost too much
Having said that I’m not bothered about money in football
Unfortunately that’s what football is
Money money money
Are well we will just have to get on with it
