Defensive Frailties

Post  sunderpitt on 2017-11-08, 9:51 am

Whilst I certainly do not think our strikers or midfield are problem free.. We have managed to score 3 goals on a couple of occasions lately and still not won. So our defence is very poor.

Is it just poor coaching, could say Sam A, tighten them up or is it a Dillabodgy problem i.e. they are useless and we need a RB and a couple of CBs to be brought in urgently (unlikely given the austerity policy)

Unless the new manager, whosoever she or he may be, can solve this problem we are sunk.

Well we all know that Sam always starts from the back with the theory if we dont concede we cant lose.

I think our best CB pairing was supposed to be Kone and Browning and early signs looked good but Kones head and Browning's injury put pay to that and confirmed we have no back up.

Strange how we all decried the lack of a striker then the defence lets us down that said with a back 4 of full internationals we should be doing a lot better. Is it coaching or maybe they just want to get O'Shea the manager's job.

Its not just the defence to blame....their getting overrun from a midfield who are poor and lazy. Our forwards are poor ar best also. Attack from the back and defend from the front....non of the above happens. Absolute f*cking shit.
