A lesson but will it be learnt?

Post  cyprussyd on 2017-10-18, 6:39 pm

Love Ashley or hate him Newcastle are up for sale and its reported that 4 parties are interested.

Not sure of the asking price but its a lot more than what we want.

Ashley has not been a success but he has invested and now has a good manager, decent team and that all important premier league status.

We could have had all of that.

Apparently he wants about £300 mil.

We'll be lucky to get a Curly Wurly and a Wagon Wheel for ours.

Seriously..?

With diverse investments he should be able to leverage real loses or otherwise as do others.
Another ace up his sleeve is having a retail empire which provides real cashflow as opposed to realised gains.

No I wasn't but then again the list should involve all clubs!

However he didn't get rich by being thick so I'm sure as with others it's been done by the book, even f morally questionable.

Don't think so in this case. See thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
