At least we can’t go bottom today barring a total meltdown and a goalfest from Bolton.

Three unbeaten is fine mate just need to get wins in the next two home games and that should be the push we need to get away from the bottom three.

Letting 1-3 slip shows exactly where improvement is required but it's another small step in the right direction!

Good point away from home but, with a bit of luck and a fair wind, we could have got 3 vital points.

We got goals at last as Grabban and Watmore get back to full fitness. A welcome boost.

Need lots of work in trainng on defending and these draws will turn into wins.

Why can't we defend?

Not sure Steele inspires confidence

Never had the same back 4 two games in a row

If they can tighten that up at the back it takes pressure off the rest and we have shown with Grabban and Watmore pace we are a threat.

Even with two covering players in Catts and Ndong we can't defend. Ideally we only want one in front of back 4, so that Williams creativity can come into midfield too.

Come on Grayson get it sorted! By the way, don't think Wilson is the answer. Wonder where McNair will fit in?

Simon Grayson was disappointed to lose a 3-1 half-time lead and felt his side didn't get the rub of the green at Brentford.
The game finished all square as a disputed free-kick and a deflected effort saw the Bees pull level in the second period.
“We responded well to going a goal down early to a soft goal against – I thought Lee Cattermole was fouled in the build-up when we had the ball,” he said.
“To lose a 3-1 lead is disappointing. When you're in that situation you want to see the game through.
“The second goal was very close to being a good tackle by Didier. I think he got the ball and then we're disappointed to see it in the back of our net.
“We responded well again, didn't buckle too much and were asking questions on the counter attack. Then the third goal's a huge deflection.
“When you get 3-1 up you want to win the game, but it's three games unbeaten so the glass is half-full and we'll look to build on it next week now.”
Sunderland now play three out of their next four games at home, with a double-header against Bristol City and Bolton next up.
“Six points is the objective, of course it is,” Grayson added, whose side also face Millwall after a trip to Middlesbrough.
“We need to build on the last few games, and performances to a certain degree.
“The focus is three points on Saturday and then we will move on to the midweek game.”

You can’t rely on the rub of the green mate or referees he should know that if anyone does.
Again individual errors have cost us not the rub of the green cut them out and we should start getting wins. The two holding midfielders is just not working now so change it ditch one or the other to put someone else in.

You would hope that a 3 > 1 lead would not be squandered by a back four with premier experience.

But we're back to acknowledging the lack of quality.

We are stuck with that for the forseeable future.

A loss against Bolton is unthinkable.

Let us hope they are not better than us.

TBF the second goal came from a free kick that should never have been and was unstoppable and the third from a massive deflection but yes it was disappointing.

Before Bolton we will beat Bristol.

Many struggle to understand why any supporter could accept that in these dire times the need to look for any positives, accept that the manager and team may not be the best but are what we have so its support and backing they need along with keeping the faith when keeping the faith is all we have left.

I do and will continue to bang the drum for positive thinking because it's something I strongly believe in.
Again consistency reigns.

Just to put it out there, I would never ever question your loyalty or positivity Syd, I am just the same with my team and I get hounded and ridiculed for it by people calling themselves supporters. They most definitely are not supporters in my book, supporters back and try to encourage the team, not boo them and call them shite!
