The EU

Post  vinkel on 2017-10-12, 6:46 pm

Over a year now and getting nowhere fast. Time for our government to lay down our terms and say accept them and we will be fine with you. Don't accept them and we will be fine with that. We are prepared to go it alone, up to you, let us know when you decide.

Withdrawing from any organisation fairly takes some doing at the best of times.  UK has had its fair share of EU funding in the past for projects it could/would not fund itself.  It's not all about power or funding though but the affect it will have on British people and commerce.

We are the ones leaving so can't really call the tune on everything, the bill needs to be paid for the services provided over the contributions made.
