That’s not fare I’ve worked for 50 years paye
Saved my money lived on a budget all my life.
My wife also.
But unfortunately I see these people who have help from government employers
Telling them how to behave to claim these benefits once you have one medical beniffit
It opens the door for others ie cares belonging to the same family receiving money.
This has all been done supposedly over board and fare.
Eg some one with diabetes in there early 50s gets his benifts and his wife gets carers
He gets caresrs to look after his wife she has a mental problem.
Information I hear maybe it’s lies but I hear these things all the time
And its all legal they’ve been tested.

Not going to check but I do know that diabetes must seriously impair mobility to get PIPS and if it does I just cant see anyone getting carers allowance.

I do agree however that the fact you enjoy your holidays is a total irrelevance, you both worked hard, paid into a pension and paid tax all your life. Being sensible with money and enjoying your retirement is not a crime, even under this government.

You worked in the public sector for years so your pension will be a damn site better off than a lot of folk.
f*ck off Vince, you getting on my tits with this.
There's folk can't afford a meal man, let alone ten holidays every year.
Poor Vince, taxed like every c**t else is, still gets abroad ten times a year .

Have you ever been sanctioned by DWP?

Sitting watching this and I cant be the only one reading it and I have been waiting to see if anyone commented, sadly not so I will.
And I start by saying Vince you have absolutely nothing to apologise forand Billy tonight, IMO we are seeing the very worst of you. How Vince spends his money has nothing to do with any of us and your personal attacks are a disgrace.

Any tories reading this would be delighted, divide and rule.

Maybe you are right Billy and its me out of step judging by the silence on this thread.

I feel you are being unfair to Vince and I cant just sit back and say nothing but I assume everyone else sees no problem otherwise they would have said something so I will back out.

Syd and Vince, you're both exempt from my feelings, you're both top men in my humble opinion.

I HAVE to say, I know Billy often gets carried away with his posts and is not afraid to say what he thinks, but when I met him and his son Nial a couple of years ago Billy was a joy to talk to, very intelligent and with his time in the forces he has very strong views on what's wrong with the country and his son is a quiet and polite young man who shows a lot of respect and Billy can be very proud of him!

I have no problems with strong views but big problems with attacking a fellow poster because of his chosen life style.

My gripe is a simple one, if people find it acceptable fine, if they don't they should say so, this BTW is general chat, anyone can post without exception. On a personal note I get a little sick at times of being the bad guy who speaks out and have decided not to in future.

That was after the derby wasn't it when we all went back to JJ's.
Eventually managed to get you to Durham station the next day.
Not used with coming in from Jerry's end..
I like you, I like Syd & I like Vince.
Infact there's no bugger on here I don't like.
You're all far too polite for that.

That's a shame Syd, you have a great skill in handling awkward situations and manage to do it without being rude or aggressive, I think that is why we all leave it for you to deal with   like
