Oh definitely. He got it in one.

Certainly not the manager's fault.

We have a squad of players who are 'not right' for the gladiatorial championship and an owner who has not contemplated investment in the team.
An annual spend of £20m was not enough for the premier.

The toon realised that investment was needed to take them back up... and they backed the manager.

We are not going to get such backing from the present regime.

We have a long hard winter ahead.
Hard lines and promise at the end of the day are meaningless.

The table does not lie.

.. and back to the original thread... it is not the manager's fault..... in my opinion.

... and I continue to support MY team whilst accepting where we are...
Very Happy

As i have said before I am not sure about the manager as to whether he is good or bad, however 'Duncan' is right to say he is on a 'licking to nothing' because of the current poor squad which lacks quality in all areas and plus some players poor attitude, which predates him.

It is likely that he will be the fall guy even though it is atm all down to the owner and his parsimony.

Short needs to write or pay off the debt and buy some decent players, or sell quickly or walk away and leave the club to another owner (who please has to be better than him)
