October at home

October at home

Post  cyprussyd on 2017-09-30, 6:20 pm

We go into a run of 4 games after the international break, 3 at home.

14th October  QPR at home
21st October Brentford away
28th October Bristol City at home
31st October Bolton at home

After a hard earned point at Preston and two weeks to prepare we will never have a better time to turn our season round and climb the table.

But will the fans turn up in force to back the team, not boo but back?

I know that I and around 20,000 others will but come on the missing thousands, back YOUR club.

QPR were shite today & Bolton are worse than us so I can see two points from those games.

I don't care about the missing thousands,so long as we start winning and getting out of the position we are in.

We are without a win at home since December !

Surely that run can't go on much longer !

Well being a realist I should point out that the majority of those games were under a different manager with a different team. Then of course the present manager has not had the chance to field his best 11 with game time.

All in all the past is the past, I am concentrating on the now and the future.

The current run takes me back to 58-59 when a  win over Scunthorpe United was a welcome relief.

I was there too.
Never missed that season.

Seem to recall that a lot of home games we were
0 - 1 at half time but won quite a few with the help of the Roker end.

Very Happy
