Joy and Happiness

Post  oldblackcat on 2017-09-27, 7:30 am

Well, here I am at work deep behind enemy lines in the land of the skunk and I've never seen so many happy mags since we got relegated.(by the way they're going to qualify for the champions league,so I'm told Laughing )
Am I depressed, suicidal? No, you know why? Because that manager Shankly got it wrong (You know that quote about football, life and death?) I've got more things both privately and family wise to worry about than the team I love losing pathetically again. We lost a game, so what? I'm not down. I just thank my lucky stars I'm pain free, healthy and got a roof over my head, it's more than some have. Remember there's always someone worse off than yourself...football wise look at Bolton. One thing I do know...when things seem hopeless, keep plodding on because eventually you'll see light at the end of the tunnel and that applies in life and football!

Ps. You forgot to mentioning sparing a thought though for the poor young disadvantaged SAFC supporting kids whom don't know how to handle being ridiculed by all and sundry or where to seek counselling.
