Morale will not be good...

If we get thumped again at PNE, I think SG will walk.

He seems to be the honourable type.
I hold no ill-will.
His hands were tied from day one.
He won't have got in his first choices.
5 loans says it all.
Club wouldn't spend the money on the PNE striker for instance.

As with most things in life, we get what we pay for...

So in the coming weeks and months we are going to need cheering up.

I suggest Syd gives us a song...

Very Happy

I would take Cattermole out slip Williams in to his position and put Watmore in behind Vaughan, and there you have it a winning, more attacking team.(yes you heard it here first a winning team)

Not sure Watmore is ready but if he is yes. I can also see Kone being dropped for OShea

Football can be odd and quirky so we could win

However if it is business as usual... we will lose

Let's hope for the unexpected

Well here we are again and it's matchday. A sign of the times I guess because we have a full bus going from Coxhoe but alas it's not the football drawing them.
On away days we have our favorite pubs we stop at, the pub provides free bacon and sausage naps and the passengers spend a lot on drink.

On the way to Preston the bus will be stopping at a favorite watering hole.

That’s the thing with away days mate its the day out the football (allegedly) is secondary, did more away games the last 3 seasons than home games because of that.
Unfortunately can’t see anything but, another defeat today and an empty managers chair come Monday. The obvious question would be who do we bring in? The equally obvious answer is anybody, as they can’t do any worse.
This mornings bit of positivity is that we cannot go bottom, that in itself should take a bit of pressure off our precious little darlings who are supposed to be pro footballers who for the most part have been playing competitively from around the age of 7/8, so no excuses today if we do get beat.

I will never accept defeat 2 hours before a ball is kicked, yes it will be hard and yes we will need to improve especially at the back but to accept defeat before we even start is IMO foolish.

I’m not accepting defeat either mate, I’m stating what I think will be the outcome today, I also hope that I’m wrong so not accepting anything. We should not be where we are, we should not be talking about sacking yet another manager, we should not be in the bottom 3 of a poor league but, we are and, I accept that even if others do not. As Grayson said we have no divine right to romp this league and, by the same thinking we should not be in the bottom 3.
I give players and managers 10 games to show improvement, any sort of improvement however, under Grayson we have gone backwards so IMO Grayson is out of his depth with us. I keep reading about giving Grayson a season to turn it around and, to be honest I’m fine with that as long as we see improvement in the next 3/4 games. Whether Short and the majority of our fans are is up for discussion.

As most reckon, Grayson is trying various permutations (frantically) searching for a winning combo and up till now failing.

However he is not the prime culprit causing our woes, he is just the one that can be easily changed.

Short rather than bringing in some quality players is more likely to sacrifice Grayson

As for today.... can we win.... of course we can.... is it probable?
