Not sure if I can make Tuesday as I am in Scarborough for most of the day.

The really sad thing for me is I realise for the first time in years I  am not bothered

We have to go 4-4-2 as our idiot players do not understand any other formation.

I would also drop Galloway, preferably from the top of an 18 storey tower block and I would also consider putting Asoro or any other striker we have at the club as at lest there would be some effort.

Ticket holders or attendees...lol

Weather dependent I'd imagine but they'll not get any walk-ups.

I'   m thinking Steel should come back.
Why are you even mentioning Rodwell. I hope he never plays for us again.
Please Maja and Watmore return soon.

If we can't beat Nottingham Forest whom only avoided relegation by a couple of goals then we'd better start preparing for life in a lower division.

That is why we have brought him to the football club, him and Jonny Williams will make us a better team. "The ones that didn't want to be here have gone. We have a group that is learning about each other and the club and will make us better."
Simon Grayson
Sunderland boss on Callum McManaman

I doubt kone relishes the thought of being at Sunderland along with a few more if the truths known. Darron Gibson seems to think so anyway.

Re: SUNDERLAND V Nottingham Forest--Match Day thread

Post  cyprussyd on 2017-09-12, 8:11 am

Well here we go again, it's match day and an evening game, always special under the floodlights.

7 games in is of course far to early to be talking about must win games as far as points go but tonight sure is a must win if we are to start lifting the blanket of gloom that covers our club. Even the half fulls like me can feel the pain that losing brings and even half fulls like me could do with a lift, a smile and the boost a win would bring.

Tonight Grayson must get team selection and tactics right, yes the players need to perform and the strikers strike but team selection and tactics is the key. Kone is a doubt but for me that could be a positive because Wilson looked OK on Saturday, if anyone could look OK on Saturday. Cattermole and Mcgeady back would be a boost but who drops out, well yes the first is obvious and clean slate or not Rodwell must step down but assuming McGready is fit who makes way.

4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1  please and above all lot's and lot's of effort please.

So I'm on the bus at 6 and looking forward to the evening and seeing how we go.

And yes, the faith is still being kept in Coxhoe.

Definitely a must win game mate not bothered by how many or how they are scored but, we have got to stop the rot now.
