Feeling blessed

Post  cyprussyd on 2017-09-03, 7:45 am

Late last night I was sitting on the balcony having a coffee and I heard the couple in the next room talking. A couple I would guess in there late thirties from the middlelands with two girls around 8 and 13. They are a family who are nice who we have talked to a lot.
He is ex forces with the tattoos to prove it.
The girls where fast asleep and they were working out what they had left on credit and debit cards.
Now yes we have all been there and yes they could have stayed at home. How just felt blessed to not have that worry and sad that they did.

He probably heard them shagging as well.
I mean, let's face facts. If you're away on holiday & low on dosh, you might as well have a shag.
Puts a bit time in & costs nowt.
Afterwards you can bask in the afterglow.
And if the lad puts a bit time in with 4play it might kill a couple of hours.

Yes, it must be very difficult for a lot of young families these days, and I am so glad I really never had financial worries when my kids were young. Everyone should be able to afford a family holiday somewhere, and no one should begrudge it, as family time away is important for everyone.
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your holiday sunny
