John Denver at the Wembley Àrena 1979, what a voice that man had.  The lyrics haunting yet relaxing.  I could either laugh or cry listening to him. But whatever at the end i just felt all the better for having listened. Him and Mat Monroe, two fantastic singers.

Matt Munro was seriously underrated. Gorgeous liquid tones. I understand he was one of Frank Sinatra's favourite singers.  Walk Away is my particular favourite.

Also loved John Denver. He and his songs of nature, and peace and love, always remind me of the time I lived in America in my early 20's and had so many amazing experiences, that changed me forever.

"And the Colorado Rocky Mountain high, I've seen it raining fire in the sky
The shadows from the starlight are softer than a lullaby"
