Went to see my boyhood favourites today Bishop Auckland.  2-3 down after 20 minutes, final score 3-7. Not a pretty sight.

Down at Heritage Park again last night, not expecting miracles after the seasons first 3 games. 3-3, 2-5, 3-7. Bishop v Ashington remarkably after 85 minutes still 0-0. I started to edge my way towards the exit, lo and behold 88 minutes and Ashinton score.
I wouldn't mind but Ashinton should have been down to 10 men had the ref not had chickened out of a blatant second yellow for their left back. Absolutely shocking decision.

Beat Penrith 3-2, lost 1-6 to Marske then last night home to league leaders West Auckland ( who beat Guisborough 9-0 opening day ) and miraculously beat them 4-3. This really is a funny old game
