West Ham looking to bag Kone deal
West Ham are ready to make Sunderland defender Lamine Kone their fifth summer signing.
Sunderland are understood to want up to £20million for their 28-year-old centre-back.
But the Hammers believe a deal could be agreed at just over half that for a player controversially pinpointed by team-mate Darron
Gibson as no longer wanting to play for the Black Cats.
Everton, Burnley and West Brom have also had an interest in Kone.

I can fully understand the "get rid" cry's, but surely it will only lead to filling shorts pockets even more with some center halve from Southend or the likes coming in for 37p to bolster there ranks. Final score....long long days ahead. Happy days.

It's alright saying get rid of Kone...(after last seasons pathetic showing I go along with that)...but all we have in our small squad to replace him is Djilibodji and O'Shea...unless we have someone to replace him it could cause problems...fair play to him, last night he had a good game and looked decent again

I have no interest in filling Shots pockets it's having committed players that is my concern.

If Kone plays like last night great but will he?
