Up a creek without a paddle?

Post  sunderpitt on 2017-07-30, 7:37 am

Well will it all come right on Friday night, or do we need several quality players brought in asap?

To go from Pickford to Steele illustrates it all unfortunately.

Will Short spend, it's looking its unlikely, perhaps the only way left is to get better as we cannot get any worse, can we  Embarassed

Watched some of the game mate then went out after the missed pen. We are well short of fitness and the tactics were non existent, unfortunately nothing new compared to the last 6/7 seasons. It's going to be a hard slog I fear.

I have every faith in Grayson getting it right, if he's allowed.

There's the problem though Vinkel he won't, most on here if not happy with signings or even Grayson himself ( I'm in both categories there mind) will give the bloke a chance to put right what numerous managers over numerous years have put wrong. However a few poor games and defeats will set the alarm bells ringing at board level and although on the whole the crowd is fairly patient I think this could be make or break for many.
I'm firmly in the "let's survive" camp this season then maybe push for promotion in a couple of seasons time. We've all said this before but, we have to put someone in to stabilize the club and keep him and back him, if that is Grayson then fine no problem from me, Without that stability, well that is where we are now, a team of other managers players and not just one manager who claim to be professional yet throw in the towel because the new manager doesn't see them in the role the person who brought them in did.
Maybe yesterday was the kick up the arse they needed to get it right for Friday, here's hoping anyway.
