Quick question bout away matches

Post  mackem72 on Fri Jul 07, 2017 2:42 pm

Afternoon all

I moved away from Sunderland to the darkness of yorkshire 30yr ago due to being too young to stay up there on my own and never been in a position to make it to many games due to previous jobs always involving weekend working, however for the first time this year my current position gives me most saturdays off (only work one in four - so going to make sure its on an away day that cant get too Smile )

Now after the above rambling the point of the post.....

Im wanting to get to the Bradford pre season friendly and take my girlfriend and 9yo daughter, whats the best way of getting to the ground - is it ok to just turn up at ground with tickets or do we have to meet at predetermined place and be guided in with the rest of the away supporters by police.

Probably sounds a stupid question but this is the lil ones first match so dont want any hassles.

Thanks in advance for any advice

Friendlies in particular are no problem, just get your tickets online

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

And make your way there

Directions to the stadium: Leave the M62 at junction 26 and take the M606 to Bradford. At the end of the motorway, keep in the right-hand lane and take the Ring Road East (signposted A6177 City Centre). From this point onwards, the ground will be signposted using a brown sign with a white football.
Parking: Most areas around the ground are first come, first served on-street parking. There is usually a large stretch of road used on Midland Road by supporters for match-day parking.

Pity you can't get to the Celtic game, it would have been good to meet you and you would have met the elusive visiting canary
