N'dong and rodwell

Post  Roker roar on 2017-07-05, 10:09 am

Assuming the club have no plans to ditch these two does anyone else think especially for rodwell that this season is a make or break for them in English football.

Yes, he is a big name player who so far has let us and himself down.
He really should be a star in the championship, no more excuses.

Last year should have been make or break for Rodwell. It's break. I've lost all patience with him. There is an argument that he might be able to do it at a lower level in the Championship. I can't see him coping with it's demands. My prediction is he'll be injured most of the time, enjoying his inflated salary. If Grayson manages to sort him out then we've got a managerial miracle worker on our hands.

N'Dong - he's great. A "make" from me last year. I hope we keep him and he continues to progress.

Well we are stuck with Rodwell as he is under contract.

I feel he'll do ok in the fizzy pop.

There is a chasm of quality between the two divisions..

I am not alone in thinking that Roswell is washed up. There was a young man called Nick Dougherty who was making it big in golf made the world top 20 at one point. Had an injury and could never find his form again...he is now commentating on Sky. I reckon Roswell is like Nick he will never be as good as he once promised.

As for N"Dong although at times I thought he was a bit "headless chicken" I reckon he can run all day and could be a player for us this season, I certainly hope so.

I am less certain of diladodgy

If i were in charge i would be looking to move Rodders on, get him off the payroll.

The slate is clean for all, so Rodders has another chance, he has talent but in this division Grayson has outlined to qualities and desire required for success, I have not seen this from him since his days at Everton and don't expect to see it. We may have to cut our losses and let him go for a song just to get him off the wage bill.

N'Dong, remembering he is only 22/23, has great potential and I am sure that under Grayson he will step up another gear this season.

The problem would be that if he was to move he would only go to a club paying him more than he is getting here and I can't see that happening.

They probably would if anyone was willing to buy him.

He has a contract and is on Premiership salary...

Can't see lot's, one, any premiership clubs rushing to steal him from us and that in itself tells us all we need to know
