Kone & McGeady

If Everton manager Ronald Koeman still wants Lamine Kone then he could probably get the Sunderland man for peanuts.
Last August, it was reported by The Mail that Everton had an £18 million bid for centre-back rejected. Fast forward 11 months and Koeman could possibly get him for just £5 million.
If rumours are to be believed, newly-appointed Sunderland boss Simon Grayson wants to reunite with Aiden McGeady, after bringing the Toffeeswinger to Preston last season.
In May, The Liverpool Echo reported that the Merseyside outfit valued the Republic of Ireland ace at £2 million, whereas two weeks ago The Sun claimed that the North-East side would accept £7 million for Kone following the Black Cats' relegation from the Premier League.
The Dutch manager could, then, offer McGeady and £5 million in exchange for the 28-year-old, who joined the Wearsiders from Lorient in January 2016 for that figure.
McGeady, 31, is a good player, but he does not have a future at Goodison Park. Kone, on the other hand, would be a welcome addition. Koeman might be on the verge of wrapping up a £31 million deal for Burnley's Michael Keane, according to The Telegraph.
But Ashley Williams turns 33 at the start of next season and perhaps the Dutch manager should bring in the Ivorian as a long-term replacement for the Wales international. Kone and Keane, on paper, seems a very decent centre-back pairing.
