Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

"We have concluded these talks and have determined that this proposed sale would not be in the best interests of Sunderland AFC."

Really? Or just not willing to throw enough money Short's way.

Grayson it is then. That is if he falls for the bull he's about to be given.

Short - if you have the best interests of Sunderland at heart then give Grayson enough money to get us automatically promoted. Shame you didn't think of the best interests of the club last year.

maybe its better the devil we know, I didn't really want german owners anyway, I was a war baby and they tried to starve us by sinking the atlantic convoys with the u boats attacking unarmed merchantmen I know a lot of people wont agree with me but I hold a grudge.

Yep, don't agree. Get over it. Or should we taint all nationalities with a view of their past misdemeanours? Great Britain wouldn't come out looking too good either.

Spot on  Kipper, modern Germans have no connection to the Nazis of the thirties and condemn them just as strongly as we do!   like

Any new owners can come from Mars as far as I'm concerned as long as they invest in the club and the team.

TBH I would have welcomed new owners but right now I am just relieved it's over, get a manager in and get stuck in.

Don't worry, they can drag that one out for a while yet.

A statement from North End confirmed that a compensation package, believed to be about £750,000, is already guaranteed in his contract and his appointment is expected to be confirmed on Thursday or Friday.

GRAYSON LATEST
Sky sources understand Simon Grayson has left the Preston North End training ground and is now travelling to the North East for talks with Sunderland over their vacant managerial position.

If we were to be bought out by Martians, would they be financed by gold bars or mars bars.

ive been a bit depressed by the club lately(well since moyes came really couldn't stand the bloke) but I'm perking up now larry grayson has arrived, I don't know a lot about him but he has already set about his job which when alls said and done is to manage instead of moaning about the job in hand (another dig at moyes) think this man will be ok.
