So he scouted Rooney nigh on 20 years ago , so what , bit like Moyes ? out of touch or just another old toffee getting chewed out , to me another non story from that red top and disgrace of a rag .

We were relegated after 10 years in the Premier League cos our players were mot good enough we had paid a fortune in fees and wages and by and large all proved trap.. .no sell on fees.
So along with Short, the managers and scouts have all done very very badly for the club in their recruitment

Good riddance

Just heard Will Buckley left on a free, A case in point
