Said none compismentus sunderland supporter ever. The club is on its knees, and will need major investment and someone like God to sort it out....I don't think even God would do anything.....second best shit.

We are in a dire position and a massive few weeks lie ahead but ever the optimist I can only look on the bright side, don't like the other side.

It's looking like the week ahead will answer the first two questions, will Moyes be manager and will funds be available?

That will lead us to the retained list and who stays and who goes, that will answer who we need then its the transfer window.

The one unknown of course is Short, he wants out, we want him out but, will a buyer come forward and when?

Former Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is the surprise name in the frame for the vacant manager's job at Sunderland, sources close to Pardew have told ESPN FC.
