Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce reportedly wants to be reunited with his former Sunderland signing Wahbi Khazri once again.

Allardyce signed the 26-year-old midfielder from Bordeaux in January 2016, paying a fee thought to be in the region of £10million.

Khazri initially did well on Wearside as the Black Cats avoided relegation under Allardyce, but he has been a bit-part player this term under David Moyes.

The Tunisia international played more top-flight minutes in half a season under Allardyce than he has during the whole of the current campaign so far.

Reports in Tunisia - from radio station Mosaique FM - claim Palace are plotting a move for Khazri as well as Sunderland defender Lamine Kone.
