Leeds Utd

Post  barrowmackem on 2017-05-04, 7:36 pm

Son in Law is a Leeds fan as is his father so my daughter and her husband booked four into corporate last Saturday @ £150 a shot for his 50th birthday. Well it turned out a total shambles a right cock up by the club, it was a waiter service that didnt serve you, people sick and tired of waiting so went to the bar themselves, person behind the bar obviously was getting the sharp end of the fans frustration and said if you can do any better come and do it yourself. Food was very poor and the some tables were getting food and some tables were being missed out by all accounts and no chance of getting a drink at half time. Anyway £550 spent and my daughter who went and complained to the club hoping to get at least £50 per person back. But credit to the club they agreed with all my daughter told them of the shambles and have offered them all a free corporate day next season. Silver lining  they can choose the Sunderland game my daughter a Sunderland fan is well made up. A sad note Leeds failed to win and have blown any chance of going up and to cap it all half an hour into their journey home the chap who was 50 got a call to say his father had died my son in laws grandfather. Luckily my daughter was driving as the rest in the car were in tears. It was a long 2 hour journey.

What a day for everyone! Glad the club sorted it all for them but there is no excuse really. I suppose the way Leeds has gone in last few years you can just imagine there is bad management right through the club. (A lesson for SAFC perhaps? tongue)
