at least we competed first half,  Vic could have levelled it but alas a decent stop. Had hope we could get back into the game until that ridiculous decision to send Larsson off. Ref has ruined any chance of a comeback.

Was not a red card and the pundits (even Jamie Rednapp!) all agree. Victor could have fallen over for a penalty before he took that shot that was saved. Oviedo has done his hamstring. Referee is a joke. Just no luck at all. Sums up our season really Crying or Very sad

And a second goal in 46 seconds. AAArrrgggghhhh!! Evil or Very Mad

Don't play Kone ever again, he is half arsed and doesn't want to be here. Oshea and Papy for me from now on. Very very disappointed with Kone and his attitude, sooner he goes the better.

Yes, plenty of effort, just very little premiership quality ..

Back from the game and first of all a great day out with some cracking black humor on the bus.

We gave our all but when your all is not enough you loose so again neither upset angry or down, we didn't expect to win and we were spot on, we didn't.

"It's very disappointing that we have not taken anything from the game.
There were some mitigating circumstances for it as well and because of that we lost. I don’t want to shout about that [Seb Larsson's red card] but things didn’t go for us today.
I don't think we started the game too well. We stood off Manchester United too much and didn’t get close to them.
Then as the game went on we began to grow into it and we had moments when we looked a bit better, but then we conceded a poor goal and didn’t get tight enough when [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic cut inside and because of that we were left chasing it.
Victor [Anichebe] had an opportunity and on another day it could’ve been a penalty.
Let's hope we can get some goals from him, it was good for him to get 90 minutes under his belt."
David Moyes

Honestly mate I am getting very very pissed off with these emails so have from today unsubscribed. We were good until the first goal which for me at least was a very good goal.
After that we were pissing into the wind, Larssons sending off was and still is a mystery to me and, even at 2 down I harboured thoughts of getting a draw but, as the third was still spinning in the net I binned it.
As for the team, Pickford good, Denayer good, not Jones biggest fan but, thought he was good possibility our best player first half. Ndong very good Catts decent, Larsson should have been sold two years ago but, possibly not a sending off.
However the worst thing for me was Defoe in the second half just binned it Anichebe was okay nothing special just okay and, therein lies the problem. We have far too many players who have just binned it because they know they won't be here next season.
