Defoe

Post  cyprussyd on 2017-03-26, 8:35 am

Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe, 34, is set to start for England against Lithuania in Sunday's World Cup qualifier at Wembley. Defoe, who has not played for England since November 2013, is likely to replace Jamie Vardy, who picked up a knock against Germany. (Daily Mail)

I actually think it is defnitely because of Bradley but agree Defoe is a better option than Vardy as well.

If it is true then Gareth Southgate will always have my support when things get difficult for him as England manager, because he obviously understands that some things are more important than football and he has seen the bond between Jermain and Bradley.

I am going to miss the game but will record it to watch when I come back.

I had to smile when Bradley refused to walk out with anyone else and made the captain walk out behind them!

Just love him to bits!   Very Happy
