The run in

Post  cyprussyd on 2017-03-19, 8:28 am

I'm assuming Hull and Boro go down, they I imaging its us and one of them, so its Swansea we need to catch.

SUNDERLAND
H                             A
MAN U                      WATFORD
WEST HAM                LEICESTER
BOURNMOUTH           ARSENAL
SWANSEA                 BORO
                              HULL
                              CHELSEA

SWANSEA
H                             A
BORO                       WHU
SPURS                      WATFORD
STOKE                     MAN U
EVERTON                  SUNDERLAND
WBA

We are outsiders but there is still hope, not a lot mind.

Yes, they say there is always hope where there is life and I expect there will be still plenty of twists and turns to churn our stomachs till the end of the season! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

What is the point? To be bottom of league next season? We are never going to achieve anything close to what the mags did in the premier league

It's not looking good but if they could only just find the will of previous seasons then the fixture list might just give us a chance.

Palace not out of it yet, look at their run in!!

Chelsea a
Southampton a
Arsenal h
Leicester h
Liverpool a
Burnley h
Man City a
Hull h
Man Utd a

Can see no return from next 5 games, leaving Burnley and Hull as best chance for points

Aye, I would hate to chuck away a 12 point lead that cost us the title.  Or were not around then?

Of course it was a disappointment but I would much rather have the experience of watching my club challenging for trophies even if we didn't win and 150+ games in Europe:lol:2 cup finals :y1:btw playing in champions league is better than winning a cup imo

The first time I saw the FA Cup live was in 1952 and then again in 1955 in the Co-Op window when Jackie Milburn was signing autographs.  The last time I saw it live it was in Bobby Kerr's hands at Wembley in 1973.

Beats going to Wembl;ey and losing.
