I think the phrase 'going off the grid' or 'going dark'...may well apply for some time.

Think of the bright side you will not have to listen about Brexit . It might all be over by the time you emerge in the light.

get an EE 4g router, no contract. Or use your phone as modem. Keeps you online when you're inevitably made to wait weeks.
