mystery remains over Vito Mannone's absence

Post  cyprussyd on 2017-03-02, 5:15 pm

As some mystery remains over Vito Mannone's absence from David Moyes' squad last weekend and Jordan Pickford now restored to the starting eleven ahead of him, a long-time advocate for the Italian accuses Sunderland of making 'false promises' and of being 'ungrateful' to the 28-year-old goalkeeper for his exploits at the club.

Looks like Vito has spat his dummy out with Picks restored to the starting line up. Even Vito has to accept Pickford is the better keeper.

Problem is could he cause bother in the dressing room? Team morale is allegedly good. You get just one bad apple and it can destroy the team bonding exercise from a few weeks ago.

Inevitable that Mannone would not be happy. Tough I say - we want the best team out there,. These situations must go on all the time. I'm sure Khazri's not a particularly happy bunny either. There'll always be someone.
