He's bailed out to Saudi Arabia.

Just cos he's team is in a league below ours I think  thats going a tad far.

Shame really as despite all the flak he gets I think he is one of our better referees. MInd I think it is a bit odd he is going mid-season but money talks I guess.

By and large UK refs are considered as just about the best in Europe. I watch a fair bit of Spanish and German football and just as an observation players are much better behaved in Euro games than they are in domestic.

I must admit I'm definitely no fan of Calamityberg, when he refs a televised match, he has to make sure he's the star of the show. With a GOOD referee, you don't even notice he's there, someone like Pierluigi Collina!

Personally think he's the best ref we have but he's an arrogant skunk supporter. Still best of luck to him.

Lets hope he takes Kevin Friend & Andre Marriner with him.

Yes and Mr Webb wasnt there that long. Did he seek advice from Howard or was it the mega bucks he undoubtedly will have been offered?

He's probably miffed that he didn't get Webb's previous gig as Man Ure specialist referee!

Reports stating that he would have been liable for breaking a contract & the associated costs to the FA are in the press.
