This two week break

Post  cyprussyd on 2017-02-16, 3:36 pm

Is it helping you, your mood and your outlook?

I am a natural positive person but even I was finding the never ending roller coaster starting to tell on my poor head, two weeks of nothing is doing me the world of good.

I can enjoy this weekends cup games stress free before we again start looking to our next game.

How are you?

Losing the last game in particular the way we did it...means for me the 2 week  break without another game to wipe away the Southampton result is hard

There is a distinct possibilty Syd that a lot of people might just enjot this 2 week break and think f*ck it, I'm not going back. Why should I let that lot ruin my weekend.

I'm not one of them and agree its quite nice to be chilled out but like Arnie, "I'll be back".

Am pleased for the break this week, but we are going away for weekend to visit our son in Cheltenham and then heading to Liverpool to stay with friends Monday and Tuesday. I chose this dead weekend deliberately so can go and do some sightseeing without thinking about football.

Our friends suggested we stay on till Saturday and go to the Everton game but we have to be back to help a friend move house on Thursday. Have to be honest by next weekend I will be quite happy to be home watching Soccer Saturday and listening to our game on radio and maybe Chatbox on here if anyone interested? Very Happy
