Modern technology is amazing!

As some of you who know me from facebook will already know, my eldest lad has just left the country to carry out 3 months of charity work in Zambia. This week he is spending a weeks prep work in the capital Lusaka, and I was amazed when I was checking my facebook page when I received a personal face to face call from my son. The sound and image was so good it was as if he was next to me.
However, he will be based in a small village 12 hours drive from the capital as from Monday, and they do not have any internet there so it will be back to the old fashioned methods of communication. I have my pigeons lined up at the ready.. Laughing

I absolutely love the good things that modern technology does when it used for staying in touch.
