So, Sam Allardyce has been sacked as England boss just one game into his tenure - is this the end of his management career?
According to the bookmakers it seems one door closes and another opens, with the 61-year-old tipped for an immediate return to the dugout,
with Swansea 8/1 to be his next club.
West Ham are 10/1 with Slaven Bilic under pressure,
while Derby County are 14/1 after Nigel Pearson was suspended by the Rams.
Meanwhile he is 20/1 to seal a return to Sunderland

who he left 68 days ago to become Three Lions coach and who are struggling under new boss David Moyes.

Twitter users sure Moyes will be sacked and Allardyce will replace him at Sunderland

Big Sam’s reign as England boss ended in shame yesterday after he was secretly filmed telling undercover reporters how to get round rules on third party ownership.
And the Twitter world is convinced Allardyce is heading back to the Stadium of Light.
Fans rushed to make the prediction as soon as his axing was announced last night.
One fan wrote: “Allardyce will end up back at Sunderland when Moyes is sacked. Nailed on.”
Another added: “Allardyce to return to Sunderland later in the season and save them from relegation.”
A fellow supporter tweeted: “Of course, Allardyce will return to Sunderland once they sack Moyes and lead them to Premier League safety in May.”
Another said: “Moyes got a reason to fear for his job, bruh...Sam allardyce is available again and Sunderland are swimming in relegation.”
Sunderland are bottom of the Premier League table having taken just a point from six games.
Allardyce, who left the Black Cats to take over from Roy Hodgson, is understood to be keen to return to club management.
For many, it’s a forgone conclusion it’ll be at Sunderland.
One fan joked: “Mystic Matt time.. Looking into my crystal ball bags & I'm predicting Allardyce back at Sunderland b4 the end of the next transfer window.”
While another reckons it’ll happen before December.
The supporter tweeted: “he'll be back at Sunderland within 8 weeks #Allardyce #Sunderland.”
SkyBet make it 10/1 for Allardyce’s next job to be back at Sunderland.
