Whatever next

Post  vinkel on 2016-09-26, 8:44 pm

I turned 65 in May this year, shortly after i damaged my elbow. Being me i decided if i buried my head in the sand it would go away. I still get occasionall pain and have been told by the doc i tore a ligament in the elbow. I am now having physio for back pain, and just today the optician has said i have visual aura aka silent migraine. What the bloody hell can go wrong next.

Arthritis, impotence, strokes, loss of hearing, general switch off for things that don't appeal.

My old mother in law, who suffered for nearly 50 years with rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis amongst other things, lived to her 90th year. She came to live with us for the last 2 years of her life, after Mr H's dad passed away (at 91!) as she needed 24/7 care. When she was having a bad day and we sympathised with her about her aches and pains she always said there were many other people worse off than her and, while getting old was a terrible thing, it was still better than the alternative! Very Happy

Sorry to hear about all your travails Vinkel, hope you feel better soon  Smile
