yes Moyes has some decisions to make come monday, who plays in goal, 3 centre backs  or back 4,is Kirch fit enough to start,Anchebe or not. saved the choice of dilly dong as i believe he is suspended for 1 match. Head ache.

The team will be interesting to see. However, there is no way that Pickford will be losing his place.

Absolutely, but the trouble comes when Mannone is fit. I can't see any of them wanting to be put at no. 3 or even no. 2. in the pecking order.

Well don't just say Mad Smile
We'd sell him and then fail to land a striker.

Moyes has confirmed that Pickford will keep his place - the right decision. Let's hope the additional competition makes him even better. He's got the shirt, Mika will be gagging for it. I expect Manone may have a bit of a sweat on about his place.

Said this before....Pickford wants to play at the top with his home town club,Sunderland...Not my view...I actually know a member of his family Smile
Even if one of the big clubs come calling,he has to agree to leave...we can't sell him otherwise....does anyone really think he'd leave to sit on a bench anyway?

There is no end to the scenarios we can imagine for Pickford or other talented players being sold for profit to finance other buys.

how about the owner has the manager  he has craved, the team is being slowly but surely being built with promising players coming through the ranks so two seasons from now we part with nobody as they want to stay when we are top of the league.

Just a thought based on a feeling.

Make it three daft buggers.

If Short wants out he is astute enough to know the more successful the club is the mote sellable.
If a top six club came in for Moyes, a big if, he would think long and hard after having his fingers burnt once.

Do long term success can be the only ambition of both men.

I do however accept its hard to move away from the same old Sunderland mind set for many.

Canny with our money for now, signing young relatively unknown players on four year contracts leads me to believe that good times are just on the horizon. I will accept at the minute I could be slightly off balance but the signs were on view at the end of last season.

At the moment I am watching the Manc derby with half a billion quids worth of talent on the pitch and right now I would fancy our chances against ManU right now. City are giving them a lesson.
