Has a new member....Dimitri Payet.....hit in the face by the ball last night and went down crying....good job it wasn't an old fashioned casey....he would have had to be stretchered off! Laughing

It surprised me when the ref stopped the game as he was obviously acting. It served its purpose though by stopping a German counter-attack. 

There should be a rule that any player going down with head/face injuries should leave the field for ten minutes to ensure he does not have long term damage.

Just a little follow up. The challenge on Ronaldo tonight was a bit OTT but an English ref let the game carry on. Italy v England in the ref stakes and I know who I would take.
