Matched Betting

Post  m.2578 on 2016-06-13, 11:15 am

Does anyone else on here do it and care to share tips?

Bet365, Paddy Power and Coral have been the best earners for me so far through out the Euro's.

I don't but I have often wondered if we should have a betting section for this kind of thing.
If there is sufficient interest and someone to run and moderate it I can soon set it up.

Views and opinions please.

I like the occasional flutter on football, but the modern betting is beyond me?  I don't even know what matched betting is.

If there's enough interest, I can help with moderating it. I'm new to the forum but happy to get involved.

Matched betting is a way to make money from the free bet offers that bookie's give out.

There's information at online betting school if you wanted to understand it better: http://www.onlinebettingschool.com/how-to-bet-online/matched-betting/ (Please delete link if links aren't allowed)

I often see the results of people not betting responsibly and it breaks up relationships and families

And there is the problem Silvers, do we encourage by having a betting board?

The moral stance is no. But....

I see the affect of addiction, smoking  drinking and gambling, I know about all three.
So do we ban members arranging meetings for a few pints before a game?

I find it hard to know where to start and end.

BTW I'm not the addict

I'm new here so it's down to you guys really.

Maybe if you include a "Please Gamble responsibly" warning or link to http://www.gamcare.org.uk/ or something like that, it would help?

Did we get anywhere on this guys?

If anyone wants to try matched betting, you can just copy the example 3 bets below to make money on this weekend's Euro matches. You basically bet £25 on Germany vs Italy on Saturday. Bet £10 on Germany with one bookie, £5 on the draw with another bookie and £10 on Italy with a third bookie.

You'll win 1 of the 3 bets plus get about £15 cashback and £60 worth of free bets that you can then use in the same way on the France vs Iceland match on Sunday. The end result is that you'll turn your £25 into anywhere between £45 to £140+ depending on what happens:
