Death brings out the worst in many people.

Post  cyprussyd on 2016-05-20, 6:20 am

Death brings out the worst in many people.

I have just been reading about relatives of the singer Prince who are coming out of the woodwork trying to get his fortune.

And on a smaller but equally sad story an old gentleman who lived near me died a few weeks ago. The day after his death, yes death not funeral, their were a number of cars outside his house with people filling their boots with whatever they could get their hands on.

I know these things have to be done but the haste was for me quite shocking and sad.

A few years ago now Annette was rushed into hospital and I was told she had a 30% chance of survival.
I phoned her sister in Glasgow and both her sister's were on the next train to Durham.
I collected them at the station, it was their first visit, they asked if I could show them Annette's house on our way to hospital.
She did not die, in fact by the morning her chaces of survival had dramatically improved.
They returned to Glasgow the next day and we haven't seen them since.

Just saying.
