Leicester City Celebrations

Post  Hieronymus on Sat May 07, 2016 7:58 pm

Even given the euphoria of our win today I am watching the celebrations at Leicester City and enjoying every minute of it for the city, the owners, the players, the fans and for Ranieri! Just brilliant and it does make you think; can you imagine if that was Sunderland? Never mind a week long party we would be celebrating for a year! Dreamland indeed  Very Happy

I never had any interest in Leicester, remember going to the old Flbert Street once and saw Gary Lineker beat us almost singlehandedly 2-0 in 1985 I think, but what they have achieved this season is so remarkable I do not begrudge them their celebrations a bit.

And if you have not seen it here is something to make your spine tingle from before their game today. (BTW don't mention Everton, Mr H is not amused  Razz)

United might have their Theatre Of Dreams but Leicester has for one afternoon, one of reality.

Grazie, signor Bocelli....... per la tua bella interpretazione come sempre di Nesum Dorma.

Lovely post to start my reading for the morning H  I love you

Another impressive thing about the club is that the trophy was presented by a lifelong fan representing four generations of the same family, on behalf of the 94YO great grandmother.
