Nothing to do with football but

Post  cyprussyd on 2016-03-29, 8:30 pm

Don't we live in a bloody awful world.

All ww see on the news is bad news, bombings, shootings, murder.
Crimes like rape, domestic abuse, abuse in general, mugging, assault all struggle to make the news, nasty horrible crimes but it seems not nasty or horrible enough.

At home, the homes of many SunderMad members I know there is pain, suffering, concern, tears of despair.

Health worries, money worries and in many cases just worries.

Age seems to have made me feel peoples pain and despair, maybe when I was younger and working life and career came before concern for others but life did not seem so cruel back then.

Then of course there are the thousands who simply die ever day because of hunger, poverty and a world who seem do care but care about other things more.

How depressing

I don't watch the 6pm news on a daily basis for that very reason instead if I'm at home I just click on at 6.40 to watch the sports round up  Very Happy
